There’s something particularly satisfying about spotting a piece of Nth Degree furniture somewhere completely unexpected.
This time, it’s on screen.
Nth Degree furniture features in Season 2 of Netflix’s The Gentlemen, appearing in one of the series’ lakeside scenes, where the characters gather outdoors around a dining table beside a striking black timber cabin.
It’s a setting that feels very much in keeping with the world of The Gentlemen: dramatic architecture, beautiful surroundings and an outdoor space designed for entertaining, albeit with considerably more going on than your average dinner party.
Season 2 sees Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass expand their operation beyond Halstead Manor, with the story moving into Italy and around Lake Maggiore. The production design by Martyn John and James North brings together grand historic locations, contemporary luxury and purpose-built sets to create the heightened world the series is known for.
The lakeside cabin is one of the season’s more distinctive settings. Built specifically for the production, the structure was designed with a Russian dacha in mind and positioned right at the water’s edge, incorporating a veranda and dining area alongside its more unusual features.
And amongst it all, Nth Degree.
For us, it’s a great example of how outdoor furniture can become part of the architecture and atmosphere of a space, not simply something placed in a garden, but part of the setting itself.
We’re always interested in seeing where Nth Degree finds its way, but seeing our furniture appear within the carefully considered world of The Gentlemen is a particularly good one.
